We like the simplicity of this cover. The close up shot makes it quite personal, yet the lighting is effective in making the shot mysterious. The title is clear and really stands out, linking the title of the album to the colour of her lips, connoting love, giving a taste of the album content.
We like the out of this world feel in this album cover. The blue lighting effect is something we can achieve by using a blue filter. The costume of the artist is modern, clean cut and smart.
We find this album cover intersting as there is so much detail. The background pattern merges with his tattoo creating an artistic feel. We also like the side shot of his face as its quite unique compared to other album covers.
The black and white is very effective and original on this cover. We like the fact that the album title is in colour making it really stand out which will help in promoting the album.
The plain white background keeps the focus on the artist, contrasting the white with his black jacket. His costume is very modern yet casual which is the kind of look we have been trying to achieve throughout our project.
