the artists – this helps the audience identify to the artist and promotes the
band/ their identity

Performance (instruments,
dance routine, lip syncing)

settings – spatial editing

Linear –
Edits with time, can work out the order clearly
·
Non-linear –
the chronology is not apparent
·
Clear
relationship can be established between video & lyrics – e.g. Pace, cutting
on the beat, physical action & appearance in video
